If you’re not familiar with the area you will be amazed since it’s not what people typically think of as Texas. The rolling hills host a number of historic towns with unique attractions, beautiful wild life and award-winning vineyards, not to mention the local southern charm. On my last trip there, which was actually in early October (300+ days of sunshine here!)I stayed at the new Stablewood Springs Resort.
